General Utility Worker - Frontwave Arena

Job Description

The General Utility Worker is responsible for the set up and break down for events and the general upkeep of the facility. This position is very important to drive customer satisfaction at the account.

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $17.00 to $18.50, depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Job Responsibilities

• Set up, align, and bike racks, stanchions, tables, risers, and staging
• Lay basketball flooring and/or fields
• Set up dasher boards
• Unload and load production equipment
• Move equipment to the stage
• Stack sound equipment and speakers
• Set lighting
• Perform housekeeping duties
• Assisting the supervisor or manager with any tasks that are needed

Qualifications

• Ability to work with the public.  

• Ability to work well under time constraints.  

• Must be able to spend entire shift on their feet.   

• Must be able to use cleaning chemicals and products safely. 

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
