Job Summary
National Pipe & Plastics, one of the largest PVC pipe producers in North America, is currently seeking a Utility Worker. The Utility Worker oversees assigned lines, minimizes rejects by checking pipe during and after the finishing process, and runs any necessary equipment. This position also comes with a $1,500 Sign-on Bonus. The first $750 is given after 3 months of employment, the remaining $750 is given after 6 months of employment.
Job Responsibilities

Keeps area clean at all times

Inspects pipe left on carts by the previous shift

Assist Machine Tender during string up process

Rework pipe
-
Preband bundles and put in center bands

Recycle steel-banding scraps

Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
Job Requirements

High School diploma or GED
-
Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with superiors, and colleagues

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
