Reports to: Production Supervisor
Shift: 12pm - 8pm PDT
Pay: $30.97 $1.10 shift differential

Summary:
Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, operates mobile equipment to transfer raw material from the dock area to the production area.
What you’ll be contributing:
- Work requires walking on slippery and wet surfaces; shoveling, poking, and pulling raw material; working at heights of 30 feet; and walking on the 160-foot incline conveyor at 18-19 degrees.
- Exposure to all the elements of weather and rock-transferring conditions. Normal conditions associated with the operation of mobile equipment.
- Varying schedule when barges are “in”. Some early mornings, evenings, and weekends are required as needed.
To succeed in this position, you will need:
- Ability to read and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, and similar information.
- Ability to operate a pedestal-mounted crane, front-end loader, water truck, wheelbarrow, grease gun, shovel, broom, bars, rose bud torch, water hose, air hose, screens, belt conveyors, gate, valves, oil cans, and related equipment safely and effectively.
What to expect in a cement environment:
Work to be performed in a shop environment as well as outdoor exposure throughout the plant. Mild exposure to cement dust, heat, cold, and noise requires compliance with specified safety guidelines and procedures. Exposure to high elevations of up to 250 feet in height. Exposure to all weather conditions. Normal operation of mobile equipment may result in jarring and vibratory exposure.
