POSITION OVERVIEW
This is a full time, annual position. Works with strategic buyer and management to support purchasing needs/functions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generates orders within purchasing system and place orders with external vendors
- Works with existing suppliers to investigate order issues and resolve discrepancies
- Train and assist field employees in order process
- Daily Administrative and Office Duties
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Must be customer service focused
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Ability to be flexible with scheduling
Education/Experience
- Experience in procurement is preferred
- Experience in asphalt construction operations is a plus
Work Environment
- This position will require working in an office environment.
