Job Description: 

Aramark Destinations is seeking two dedicated Retail Supervisors to lead the operations of the Crystal Reservoir Gift Shop during the 2025 summer season. The ideal candidate is a reliable, customer-focused leader with previous retail experience who can maintain high standards in cleanliness, merchandising, and cash handling while supporting a positive guest and team experience.

COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $22.58 to $22.58. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee daily retail operations including midday and closing procedures. 
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the gift shop and surrounding area. 
• Maintain fully stocked shelves and displays by following planograms and merchandising guidelines. 
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and balance cash drawers according to Aramark Cashier and Cash Handling Procedures. 
• Submit requisition (Req) forms for product restock in a timely manner and communicate inventory needs to the warehouse. 
• Ensure team members follow customer service standards and promote a welcoming atmosphere. 
• Adhere to safety standards and monitor for POS system tampering or suspicious activity. 
• Maintain all logs and documentation as required by Aramark policy and participate in cycle counts and inventory control. 
• Encourage and participate in weekly cycle counts and ensure that negative on-hands are addressed. 
• Uphold Aramark’s standards of accuracy in pricing, signage, and promotional materials.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail supervisory experience. 
• Demonstrated leadership, organization, and communication skills. 
• Must be comfortable using Retail Pro (or be willing to learn) for inventory and voucher processes. 
• Ability to independently drive to Crystal Reservoir for each shift (carpooling encouraged). 
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. 
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift to 50 lbs. 

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).  

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with inventory processes, receiving procedures, and transfer slips. 

• Previous experience working in a high-traffic tourist location or seasonal operation. 

• Knowledge of merchandising and planogram compliance.

Located along the scenic Pikes Peak Highway at approximately 9,200 feet, Crystal Reservoir offers a peaceful and picturesque work environment. The gift shop serves as a popular stop for travelers heading to the summit, offering retail items, refreshments, and incredible lake views. 

New for the 2025 season, Aramark will launch a dedicated food trailer operated by Blacksmith Catering, specializing in smoked meats and signature barbecue offerings. This exciting addition will enhance the guest experience and offer team members a chance to be part of a brand-new culinary venture.
