PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The ideal candidate will have experience in social media management, marketing, or a related field. Candidate should have a positive, energetic attitude, and ability to manage multiple projects in a face-paced environment.

POSITION OVERVIEW: Assisting HR managers for Hinkle Contracting Company and others with all public relations duties.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS):

  • Administration of company app, portal, and texting programs
  • Create content for various social media platforms following the CRH social media guidelines and standards  
  • Post on all established social media networks as directed.
  • Monitor Meta Business Suite
  • Contribute, edit, and proofread Milestones (company newsletter) issues throughout the year
  • Create promotional materials as needed.
  • Support organization functions and operations regarding their needs with public relations, social media or event planning as directed by Human Resources.
  • Create content and help administer Communication Dashboard under the guidance of the Human Resources
  • Participate on employee resource groups as needed.
  • Visit the field to learn and understand the business, take pictures, attend events, assist with Public Relations needs as directed by team.
  • Ensure quality standards are met.
  • Provide world class customer service.
  • Collaborations with manager and functions or operations on any other public relations initiatives/ duties.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have a high level of attention to detail and professional writing skills.
  • Strong writing, editing and content creation skills, including a basic knowledge of photography and video editing.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools.
  • Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the public always.
  • Must be willing to travel and work away from home as needed.  
  • Report to the assigned job site ready to begin work at the designated start time.
  • Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Manual of Safety Practices and Procedures.
  • Strict adherence to CRH Company policies and procedures as outlined in the Company Book of Policies.
  • Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
  • Timely and regular attendance is an expectation of performance for all Hinkle Company employees. Employees will be held accountable for adhering to their workplace schedule.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as directed.
