Lead ServiceNow Developer - NowAdvantage Team

CRI Advantage, a ServiceNow Consulting and Implementation Partner of the Year awardee, is seeking a Sr ServiceNow Developer Lead to join our NowAdvantage Managed Services team. This role is instrumental in supporting multiple customers across various ServiceNow products, ensuring the ongoing stability, enhancement, and innovation of their platforms. The Sr Developer Lead will oversee enhancements, integrations, configurations, and custom application development while providing strategic technical guidance and mentorship within the team.

This position requires a high degree of flexibility, adaptability, and problem-solving skills to address unique client challenges across diverse industries. The Developer Lead will also play a key role in business development efforts, including customer roadmaps, product demonstrations, and thought leadership. This fulltime, remote position requires U.S. Citizenship and the ability to work flexible hours within U.S. time zones.

Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Advisory

  • Act as a technical leader within the NowAdvantage team, guiding customers through evolving ServiceNow capabilities and platform optimization strategies, working closely with the Program Analyst and Developer(s).
  • Oversee the technical aspects of the Statement of Work (SOW) including enhancement, and maintenance of ServiceNow platforms across multiple clients.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, proactively identifying opportunities to improve customer environments and maximize ServiceNow investments.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership to ensure high quality solutions and adherence to best practices.

Multiproduct & Mult Customer Development

  • Working with the Program Analyst, lead ServiceNow development efforts across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SecOps, and other ServiceNow product suites.
  • Develop and optimize custom integrations, workflows, and automations to meet customer specific needs.
  • Rapidly assess technical environments, design scalable solutions, and implement best in class ServiceNow configurations.
  • Work on multiple concurrent projects, balancing development tasks with strategic advisory and technical oversight.

Agile Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement

  • Operate in a fast paced, agile managed services environment, quickly assessing and resolving complex issues across multiple customers.
  • Utilize Agile and DevOps methodologies to drive continuous platform improvement and automation.
  • Design and develop queries, widgets, reports, dashboards, and flow automation to enhance platform functionality.

Collaboration & Business Development

  • Partner with Sales and internal teams to develop customer opportunities, craft technical roadmaps, and provide ServiceNow product demonstrations.
  • Contribute to thought leadership by driving innovation, best practices, and industry trends across multiple clients.
  • Assist in assessing opportunities for fit with ServiceNow solutions and recommending technical approaches.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience, including at least two major product suites (e.g., ITOM, CSM, HRSD, SecOps).
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams, mentor developers, and drive strategic platform decisions.
  • Expertise in ServiceNow administration, including users, workflows, business rules, UI customization, ACLs, service portal, and catalog items.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience integrating third party software and APIs with ServiceNow.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to work in multiclient, multiproduct environments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, technical teams, and business leaders.

Certifications

  • Current with Certified System Administrator (CSA),
  • Two CIS certifications such as ITSM, CSM, HRSD, ITOM Discovery, ITOM Visibility etc.
