Job Title
A key leadership role overseeing and directing the operations of a Cook plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining high standards of Food Safety and Quality in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Developing and implementing strategic plans to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and achieve business objectives.
- Liaising with senior management to make informed decisions and set operational goals.
- Supervising and directing production and distribution activities, ensuring they align with company policies and objectives.
- Evaluating business procedures for efficiency and implementing improvements to meet organizational goals.
- Assuming responsibility for costs, methods, and quality of production, as well as achieving plant performance objectives.
- Monitoring expenditures and providing regular reports to senior management on output and quality.
- Responding to production-related problems and implementing solutions to prevent future occurrences.
- Overseeing all aspects of capital expenditures and ensuring desired results are achieved safely and within budget.
- Providing guidance and feedback to staff members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven leadership experience in the meat and poultry manufacturing industry.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to understand and implement continuous improvement techniques.
