Position Summary
The Freight Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the shipment of goods to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
Position Responsibilities
- Tracking and Tracing of any Crider routed inbound and outbound freight
- Communicate any issues or delays to customer service/sales team and customers as needed
- Review inventory and schedule transportation as needed based on current orders
- Order entry/tendering to carrier partners
- Scheduling and tracking any spot shipments
- Storage Trailer Inventory Management
- Quoting spot Freight
- Assist with long term freight pricing
- Perform other duties as assigned
Essential Skills and Experience
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Logistics.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, freight coordination, or transportation management.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Able to walk and stand, use arms and legs for long periods of time including wrist turning and finger manipulation.
- Employee stands frequently with tasks requiring consistent bending, stooping, kneeling, or crawling to complete; Lift, carry and push/pull occasionally of up to 50 pounds is required.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to extreme temperature conditions.
- Job locations can be consistently 40 degrees or below.
- The noise levels at work are moderate to loud and hearing protection is required.
