The duties that the incumbent of the vacancy will be expected to perform. Duties Description The Student Assistant will provide support to the overall operations of the Office of Probation and Correctional Alternatives (OPCA), Alternatives to Incarceration Unit (ATI). Duties will include, but are not limited to: • Assist with the revision and streamlining of Community Service and Treatment Alternatives for Safer Communities (TASC) program standards;• Review research on statutory provisions and best practices;• Review and update existing standards utilizing Microsoft SharePoint to streamline processes;• Review of quarterly Article 13A progress report documents and spreadsheets;• And assist in the development of a Peer Support Initiative by contributing to research, coordinating with the Steering Committee, and assisting with implementation efforts.
The minimum qualifications required for this vacancy. Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Must be a current student enrolled in a matriculating degree program and have completed a minimum of one (1) year as a student at a degree-granting two or four-year college or university.Preferred Qualifications: The preferred candidate would possess strong organizational skills, experience with Microsoft 365, strong attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
