Full-time CNA, Caregiver for Night Shift
Schedule : Night shift, 9 PM to 9 AM, Monday eveningto Saturday morning
Location : Southport, CT
Salary : $40 per hour
Benefits : 2 weeks of paid vacation
Overview :
A lovely senior couple in Southport, CT would like to hire a trustworthy and dependable domestic caregiver full-time. This individual will cover the night shift along with an RN, and there will be another caregiver for the day shift.
Our clients are seeking an intelligent, polished and poised individual who is at home in a more formal environment. This is a hands-on role where you will work as part of a domestic team. The candidate must be extremely flexible to address the changing needs of the principals and coordinate to fill gaps in the existing staff schedule. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone reliable and highly capable, who has the temperament and talent to assist these gracious employers in maintaining their independent lifestyle.
Duties :
Assist with daily living activities as requested, offer companionship, and ensure the overall well-being and safety of the principals while preserving their feeling of independence.
Mobility support for the principals throughout the night
Medication management
Monitor vital signs
Collaborate with other domestic staff members to ensure comprehensive care and support.
Light meal or snack preparation as needed

Willing and able to work as part of a team
High level of discretion, loyalty, and integrity
Strong communicator
Sound judgment and common sense
Requirements :
5 years experience as a CNA in a private setting
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
Vaccinated for COVID 19
Non-smoker
Must love dogs as the principals have a small beloved dog.
Flexibility to travel and in general is key for this role.
Salary : $40
