What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Tableau Administrator/Data Visualiztion position at Crimson Phoenix?
What You Will Be Doing :
- Configuring and maintaining Tableau Server Software Layer and System Administration (includes site creation, server maintenance / Upgrades / patches).
- Working with management to develop sustainable processes to govern the continued rollout of the Tableau toolset.
- Changing management including software, hardware upgrades, patches.
- Monitoring server activity / usage statistics to identify possible performance issues / enhancements.
- Performance tuning.
- Server management of tableau server environment (clustering, Load balancing).
- Facilitating change and innovation to legacy systems and processes.
- Utilizing expertise in information visualization and design to create and deploy new platforms and services for visualization initiatives.
- Creating / managing Groups, Workbooks, and Projects, Database Views, Data Sources, and Data Connections.
- Managing and supporting migration of objects (dimensions, measures, hierarchies, reports, workbooks, dashboards) from development to production environments.
