Duties

- Facilitate crisis intervention sessions, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients during critical moments.
- Collaborate with behavioral health professionals to create individualized recovery plans tailored to each client’s needs.
- Conduct group sessions focused on topics such as addiction counseling, mental health awareness, and coping mechanisms.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and interactions, adhering to confidentiality standards.
- Advocate for clients within various systems, including healthcare, social services, and community resources.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in crisis management and behavioral health interventions.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Peer Specialist is required.
- Experience in behavioral health settings or related fields is preferred.
