Position Summary
The event server sets up, services and breaks down from winery events. Servers may execute wine service and venue tours under the supervision of the Event Manager and the Even Coordinator
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Sets-up and breaks down events, including but not limited to the following:
- Follow Special Event Order and consult with event Manager throughout event from set up through breakdown
- Movement of banquet tables, chairs, umbrellas and event equipment
- Preparation of event tables with linen, décor, glassware, menus, flatware
- Glassware preparation (buffing, placement in accordance with Special Event Order)
- Prepare wine service for event: wine inventory, wine stations, wine barrel bars, pour stops, tasting notes, etc.
- Greet guests warmly and serve guests with a high level of attentiveness
- Execute Event Service: Passed wine service, refills, dinner service
- Wine Service breakdown and event space breakdown
- Performs basic cleaning tasks, such as doing dishes, sweeping, mopping, as needed or directed by management to maintain a clean work environment and uphold all Health and Safety Regulations
- Pro-actively and persistently completes existing tasks and pursues new assignments
- Clearly communicates and cooperates in teamwork, while maintaining the company's standard for excellence
- Provides exemplary guest experience through proper service etiquette and anticipating the needs of guests
- Follows all safety procedures
Qualifications
- Excellent pro-active guest service skills and sense of gracious hospitality
- Polished and professional
- Strong team player and communicator
- Able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced event venue and stay calm under pressure
- Able to follow directions, both verbal and written (Special Event Order)
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and stand and walk for extended periods of time over multiple surfaces (concrete, stone, vineyard, decomposed granite, uneven surfaces, lawn, etc.)
- Ability to periodically lift, reach, bend, push, pull, move furniture
- Ability to work in diverse areas with fluctuating temperatures and environments; outdoors, indoors, cave, production facility, vineyards.
- Safety-minded
- Availability to work weekends, as well as nights and holidays as event schedules require.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.

The projected hourly pay rate for this position is $22.00 per hour (in addition to tips and commission). The above range/rate is the projected compensation for this position however the actual compensation offered may vary based on job-related factors such as (but not limited to) candidate qualifications, related experience and education, candidate work location and market data. Crimson Wine Group reserves the right to modify the pay range/rate at any time in the future.
