Position Summary:
The role of the Senior Promotional Review & Asset Management Manager provides strategic partnership, leadership, and direction to develop implement, and refine processes that contribute to the approval, production, distribution and maintenance of marketing materials. This individual is responsible for developing and implementing the approval of modular content and reusable content operations within Veeva PromoMats for the commercial organization. This position coordinates the Promotional Review & Approval process, print and digital Production, and Fulfilment for advertising and promotion in accordance with company policy and standard operating procedures (SOPs) including but not limited to Marketing, Sales Training, IT and Corporate Communications. This individual will work closely with the US Regulatory, Medical, Legal, Marketing, IT and all other Commercial teams to ensure digital and print promotional and internal material is approved and distributed in a timely manner.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
These may include but are not limited to:
Facilitate MLR (Medical, Legal, Regulatory) content review meetings, create agendas, update status reports, communicate and facilitate progress to gain approval
Manage print vendor, print production of assets and direct to representative program.
Review printer proofs and issue final approval to proceed to print
Manage third party print vendor and warehouse & distribution vendor (field force online ordering system, rework inventory with new components/new labeling, prepare/revise kits, schedule auto shipments to field force)
Troubleshoot VEEVA PromoMats system and develop processes around continuous improvement
Provide onboarding training for agencies and new hires utilizing Veeva PromoMats
Independently manage all user profiles/permissions within Veeva PromoMats system
Identify opportunities for improving operational efficiency and filling business gaps and work with commercial stakeholders to tackle
In partnership with Regulatory, manage the job flow process from initial internal review of projects through OPDP submission, print production, and final distribution to field force
Education and Experience:
Required:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, marketing or management preferred
A minimum of 12 years of professional experience, with recent experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally within promotional review or marketing operations. Strong understanding of industry best practices across all aspects of commercial operations is essential
Ability to prioritize high-volume workload based on challenges and business needs, with minimal supervision, working with sense of urgency and efficiency
Must have demonstrated proficiency of MLR process and of the pharmaceutical environment
Expert understanding of legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotions, pharma industry guidelines, and other compliance-related issues
Excellent project management and follow-up skills in cross-functional environment with the ability to organize and complete multiple projects efficiently and on time
Knowledge of pharmaceutical systems such as Veeva (PromoMats), print production, and rep fulfillment
Demonstrated ability to influence without authority across diverse teams
Sets priorities, creates logical work plans and communicates progress
Anticipates and assesses future business needs
While being organized and logical, must balance this with a high degree of flexibility to change direction when needed
A confident self-starter, who can work independently and creatively but also be a team player
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Physical Activities: On a continuous basis, sit at desk for a long period of time; intermittently answer telephone and write or use a keyboard to communicate through written means. Some walking and lifting up to 25 lbs. may be required. The noise level in the work environment is typically low to moderate. The Anticipated Base Salary Range: $128,000-$160,000

The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience and education.
