Position Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the recruitment process, providing essential support to the talent acquisition team and ensuring a seamless candidate experience. This role involves managing the administrative aspects of recruitment, coordinating interviews, and maintaining communication with candidates and hiring managers. This role will be onsite in our San Diego office 2-3 days per week.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
These may include but are not limited to:
- Create a positive and seamless experience for all candidates and hiring managers throughout the entire recruitment process
- Facilitate all things in our applicant tracking system, not limited to creating job postings, system maintenance, process improvements, onboarding and user access
- Maintain and update Talent Acquisition Metrics and dashboards for reporting
- Work with Hiring Managers, Talent Acquisition partners, and candidates to schedule and coordinate interviews and presentations
- Build and maintain relationships with candidates throughout the entire interview process
- Facilitate scheduling and logistics for interviews and debriefs
- Provide updates to candidates regarding their applicant and interview status
- Support the communication and coordination of interview and offer related activities for candidates
- General day-to-day scheduling and administrative duties
- Coordinate candidate travel and the candidate expenses process, as needed
- Offer ideas to streamline our processes and improve upon existing programs
- Take on projects of impact to our workflow and experiences provided
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other related business degree.
- Minimum 1 years as a coordinator within Human Resources or Talent Acquisition
- Experience with heavy scheduling and calendaring
- Exceptional organizational skills, ability to multitask and extremely detail oriented
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with MS Word, Excel
- Strong sense of Urgency
Preferred:
- Biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience
- Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables) and Powerpoint
- Experience working with Workday or other similar tools
Physical Demands and Work Environment: Physical Activities: On a continuous basis, sit at desk for a long period of time; intermittently answer telephone and write or use a keyboard to communicate through written means. Some walking and lifting up to 25 lbs. may be required. The noise level in the work environment is typically low to moderate. The Anticipated Base Salary Range: $25 - $30 per hour
The final pay rate offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience and education.
