About the Role
We’re looking for a highly organized and proactive Ecommerce Coordinator to join our marketing team! This role is essential in managing our digital catalog, coordinating product launches, and optimizing the online shopping experience for our customers. If you have 1-3 years of experience with a direct-to-consumer (DTC) brand, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for ecommerce, we’d love to hear from you. This position reports to the Retention Manager and Head of Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
Product Launch & Merchandising
- Develop and manage launch timelines to ensure timely execution of the marketing calendar while adapting to inventory availability.
- Coordinate with design, marketing, and merchandising teams to gather assets, copy, and other launch materials.
- Own and maintain marketing sample sets for photoshoots and content creation.
- Support the Head of Marketing and Senior Content Producer in planning seasonal and monthly photoshoots.
- Test and troubleshoot new product pages to ensure a seamless user experience before launch.
Shopify Management & Site Optimization
- Regularly audit and update product listings to ensure they are accurate, visually compelling, and aligned with brand and sales strategies.
- Assist with site merchandising by optimizing product placement, navigation, and promotional visibility to maximize conversions.
- Utilize analytics, customer feedback, and merchandising tools to refine product positioning and improve the shopping experience.
- Maintain Google product feeds as new items become available online.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement site merchandising strategies that drive sales and improve key performance metrics.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with Shopify, staying up to date on new features and best practices.
Process Improvement & Innovation
- Continuously improve workflows and document processes to enhance efficiency in ecommerce operations.
- Stay informed on the latest ecommerce trends, tools, and Shopify updates to identify opportunities for growth.
- Own and manage the marketing sample set, ensuring proper handling and preparation for marketing initiatives.
Who You Are
- 1-3 years of experience in ecommerce, digital marketing, or merchandising, preferably with a DTC brand.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Curious, resourceful, and eager to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- A self-motivated team player who thrives on problem-solving and continuous learning.
- Proficient in Shopify (product setup, collection organization, basic troubleshooting).
- Comfortable using GSuite, Microsoft Excel, Asana, and other project management tools.
- Familiar with ecommerce platforms and apps like Loop Returns, Gorgias, Goodday or Netsuite, Kimonix, Loyalty/Referral programs, and Review platforms.
- Knowledgeable about ecommerce KPIs, conversion rate optimization, and SEO best practices for product pages.
- Experience with Google Analytics and Shopify Reports is a plus.
