Job Duties-
Our client is seeking consultants with over 9 years’ experience to work as a lead Analytics business analyst in the CCR risk engine migration project. This migration is aimed at enhancing scalability, performance, and compliance with regulatory requirements while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. The role involves bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
- Perform detailed analysis of existing CCR risk systems and identify gaps in the migration process.
- Define key use cases and document functional and non-functional requirements
- Analyze large datasets to assess the migration on risk metrics, including EAD, CVA, and PFE
- Validate data mappings and transformations during the migration process
- Act as a liaison between business teams, technology teams, and external vendors
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders clearly and effectively.
- Work closely with model teams, risk managers, and IT teams to ensure successful implementation.
- Develop and execute test plans, including system integration and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Validate the migrated risk engine against predefined benchmarks and KPIs.
- Ensure proper documentation of test results and approvals.
- Support the PM in creation of project roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables.
- Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies for the migration process.
Qualification/Desired Skills-
- Strong understanding of CCR concepts (e.g., PFE, EAD, CVA, and IMM frameworks).
- Familiarity with risk management platforms, risk calculations and migration techniques.
- Experience with tools like Python, SQL, or similar is a plus
- Experience in system migrations or enhancements involving risk engines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements like Basel III, CRD IV, and FRTB
- Ability to analyze complex data and processes to propose actionable solutions.
- Hands-on experience in system migration projects, particularly involving risk engines. Strong track record of delivering large-scale data projects.
- Undergraduate degree and Postgraduate in MBA or Finance. FRM desirable
