What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE)- PM Shift position at Crisis Center, Inc.?
The Crisis Center in Birmingham is seeking to contract an experienced Registered Nurse to be on-call to provide medical-forensic exams to patients 14 and older. Applicant will also serve as a resource person to other medical staff. Shifts covered are each Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Already SANE-trained/certified applicants preferred, but not required. Training will be initiated upon hiring. Must live within 45 minutes of downtown Birmingham.
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse with three years of experience
Current BLS Certification
Ability to work independently and stay calm in stressful situations
Experience in psych and women's health a plus!
Job Types: Contract, PRN, Permanent, Per diem
Pay: $100.00 - $400.00 per day
