JOB TITLE: Front Desk Greeter
CLASSIFICATION: Full Time, Non-Exempt, Hourly
REPORTS TO: Programs Director
SUMMARY: The Front Desk Greeter is responsible for directing all incoming inquiries, greeting guests, donors and visitors and interacting with the public. As part of the Front Desk Team, he/she contributes to the public perception of the organization, both in person at the front desk and over the telephone. He/she maintains a calm, courteous and professional demeanor at all times, regardless of the visitor's behavior. As such, the incumbent must be keenly customer-focused in manner and attitude and be able to assist individuals with a variety of agency related inquiries. The Front Desk Greeter maintains a therapeutic demeanor when interfacing with clients and stakeholders. This position comes in contact with confidential information and as such must maintain the agency’s standard of strict confidentiality. The Front Desk Greeter will foster a safe and welcoming environment for children and families visiting the CAC while upholding and promoting the principles and mission of the CAC model.

The mission of the Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) program of the Crisis Center of Anderson & Cherokee Counties is to promote a coordinated, multidisciplinary response to allegations of child abuse in a manner that is sensitive to the unique needs of children and their non-offending caregivers.
Summary of the Position
Description of Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and visitors coming into the CAC while verifying approved entry;
- Follow-up with clients;
- Responsible for the constant supervision of clients in client waiting room, maintaining cleanliness and orderly appearance of client waiting rooms and ensuring client comfort and satisfaction during their visit at the CAC
- Responsible for answering and triage of incoming phone calls to the CAC program;
- Provide clerical support to all CAC direct services staff to ensure that direct services are able to be provided in an effective and efficient manner;
- Order and inventory of office supplies and office equipment
- Responsible for preparing and maintaining all CAC program forms utilized for direct services;
- Responsible for ordering and monitoring CAC program office supplies;
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma; associates or bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience in service delivery to children and families. Strong interpersonal and telephone communication skills. Computer and typing competency. Must have a clear criminal history and background check. Knowledge of CPS/law enforcement a plus. Must have a desire to work in child abuse related organization. Professional demeanor. Good attention to detail. Proficient in administrative and office related tasks. Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. Other Pertinent Information:
Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

2. The Programs Director will evaluate job performance at regular intervals.
3. Position start date will be determined with applicant after job offer.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
