Weatherization Program offered by City of Seattle's Office of Housing
Conducts a free energy analysis of owner-occupied or rental homes in Seattle and recommends a conservation package to assist with energy-saving improvements.

- Installation or replacement of bath fans and kitchen fans
HomeWise selects and manages a private contractor to perform the work. Apartment building projects may also receive energy-efficient lighting.
Call to receive an application, or visit the website to download and print. Renters and landlords must call to request an application by mail.
Landlords of up to four units must sign a three-year covenant agreement to not raise rents. Landlords of multiple units (5 or more) must sign either a three or a ten-year covenant agreement and may have to pay a percentage of improvement costs for some kinds of work.
May be used in conjunction with the loan program if the client qualifies.
Fee : None for single-family homeowners. Fees vary for apartment owners.
