The Role:
The Technology Project Manager will be responsible for managing a mixture of software development projects, traditional Technology Services infrastructure, and software implementation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

- Advocate for incremental value-add and iterative development using data-driven research.
- Assist in the coordination of release timing and organizational training.
- Collaborate with product, business, and development teams to define and track milestones and hold them accountable for each stage of the project.
- Communicate progress tracking and reporting to all levels of the organization.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for project execution, ensuring resource availability and monitoring allocations.
- Coordinate with the business and share resources in planning meetings.
- Create and maintain relevant metrics to help the team assess their progress, opportunities, and successes.
- Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to define the project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives.
- Determine and oversee consistent testing, evaluation, and troubleshooting of all products in all stages.
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
- Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs.
- Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Facilitate project meetings, including kick-off, status update, and post-mortem sessions.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Lead, coach, and motivate project team members on a proactive basis.
- Make business decisions that are financially responsible, accountable, justifiable, and defensible in accordance with organization policies and procedures.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
- Plan and execute Technology Services projects according to deadlines and budgetary limitations
- Plan, organize, allocate resources, and lead the operational activities of a function.
- Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Make business decisions that are financially responsible, accountable, justifiable, and defensible in accordance with organization policies and procedures.
- Perform other position-related duties as assigned.
You Need to Have:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- Five years or more of experience managing technology projects, including the application of scrum, and agile techniques
- Knowledge of Technology Services infrastructure, software development life cycle, and systems integration
- Knowledge of quality assurance processes and standards
- Knowledge of risk management processes and techniques
- Proficiency with project management software and tools, such as MS Project, JIRA, or Trello
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and environments
- Ability to analyze project data and metrics to drive informed decision-making
- Ability to lead, coach, and motivate team members effectively
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in project deliverables
- Outstanding leadership skills with the ability to delegate responsibilities and authority effectively and to encourage individuals to decide how they will accomplish their goals and resolve issues
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, negotiation, writing, speaking, and listening skills
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking ability
