Key skills encompass strong security minded professional, customer service, strong verbal communication, writing, critical thinking, analytical abilities, and a grasp of basic risk management principles. Adherence to discretion and confidentiality is mandatory, with a capacity to assess and communicate sensitive topics and risks in a reasonable manner. Operating with integrity in all aspects of the job is a must. Ideal past job experiences that prepare candidates for this role may include executive protection, alarm/camera operators, residential security, emergency response, or a combination of these.      Location:   Washington, DC with the ability to travel     What You Will Work On:  Incorporate the client’s core values and code of conduct in all decisions and actions. Responsible for making real-time operational decisions that enhance safety for the client and immediate family members. Maintain and manage all security logs, radio logs, visitor information, residence audits, vehicle inspections, and security phone communication. Monitor the residential intrusion detection system, panic alarms, and CCTV camera system. Access control for visitors, employees, and vendors. Opportunities for travel/special assignments. Demonstrate effective communication with the client, the family, and other team members Maintain discretion and confidentiality. Promote and establish effective working relationships with the client and the Team Lead to quickly resolve operational issues without affecting the client’s quality of life. Partner with various intelligence and investigations teams, global security operations center assets, other private security firms, and local law enforcement to proactively identify and mitigate threats. Detect and report suspicious activity and security vulnerabilities. Ability to operate in a dynamic, multifaceted, and fast-paced environment.  Who You Will Work With:  In your role as an EP Armed Travel Agent you will work directly with a team of EP professionals who operate 24/7 to safeguard our clients.    What You Will Bring:  5 years of experience in Executive Protection, Emergency Response Teams (ERT), PSD, or RST Required Certifications: LEOSA/HR 218 permit or CCW valid for all 50 states Exposed Firearm Permit (optional) Current CPR certification Must Pass: Physical Readiness Test (PRT) & Meet and Greet prior to offer of employment Executive Protection or Residential Security applicable academy or course Pre-employment Background Investigation (BGI) Random drug screenings All agents are expected to be able to provide STO, body coverage, and perform advances Possess a valid current driver’s license and a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent Showcase abilities and experience in security planning, emergency response, conflict resolution, team environments and understanding of Residential Security Technologies Possess strong Written and Verbal Communication skills, Command Presence & Confidence in abilities to operate as a security professional Team members must always maintain physical readiness to respond to an attack or hazard.   Desired Qualifications:  Prior US Secret Service, ERT, military, or law enforcement providing physical security, emergency response, surveillance detection, secure transportation Specialized training in incident response, emergency medicine, or crisis management Experience in providing Secure Transportation Operations (STO) for clientele in a solo or team capacity Advanced Medical experience preferred    Benefits:  Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance Competitive 401k with employer match Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Paid time off (PTO)   Apply Now Join a world-class security team committed to protecting high-profile clients.
