Who We Are Looking For
Contract Specialist-II must be extremely organized with a strong attention to detail. This role requires a quick and intuitive thinker, a problem-solver, and multi-tasker able to maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Provide guidance to and answer questions for Contract Specialist – I. You must work well as a team player and be open to team member’s perspectives. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with administering and reporting for a General Services Administration (GSA) contract and other government procurement contract vehicles.
What You Will Work On
Reviewing and understanding the details of contracts governing customer accounts including the ability to identify discrepancies and inaccuracies that are more complex in nature.
Prepare and submit required reports for GSA and other government procurement contract vehicles, including the Industrial Funding Fee (IFF) and reporting for the Small Business Subcontracting plan.
Monitor and manage contract modifications, renewals, and extensions for GSA contract and other government procurement vehicles.
Maintain and improve internal systems to track customers that have purchased from the GSA contract and other government procurement vehicles.
Train and collaborate with internal terms on GSA policies, procedures, and best practices.
Updating and maintaining customer records and internal data.
Auditing internal systems for accuracy.
Working with customers and sales teams on contract renewals.
Communicating details of contracts to sales teams and client support teams.
Understanding details of OnSolve products.
Obtain related information from relevant parties.
Consistently meet assigned deadlines
Ensuring relevant documentation accompany contracts and maintaining digital and hard copies of relevant documentation.
Leverage advanced contract knowledge, processes and policies to troubleshoot more varied challenges and assist customers with difficulties
Provide training support and shadowing opportunities to new hires as they learn about OnSolve’s products and practices
Provide guidance to Tier I colleagues as they triage customer issues and in general share beneficial Contracts insights
Answer contract questions
Assist and participate in special projects
Audit work of Tier I colleagues
Other duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring
Associates degree in business administration, mathematics, accounting or economics or relevant work experience
2-4 years contract administration experience
Outstanding organizational skills
Strong knowledge of GSA eLibrary, SAM, and federal and local government procurement processes
Demonstrated track record of meeting deadlines and identifying contract discrepancies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy, including the ability to detect errors and inconsistencies
Proven experience and knowledge of MS Outlook Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, OneDrive)
Demonstrated advanced communications skills (written, verbal, phone and interpersonal) and the ability to resolve complicated customer problems
Demonstrated ability to research and solve problems independently
Increased knowledge of accounting and revenue recognition
Answer product questions
Ability to provide advanced support when Tier I Contract Specialist have questions
Experience with drafting and interpreting contracts
Salesforce experience required
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Ability to adapt to change
