Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for a highly motivated and intellectually curious contributor to join our team in Annapolis. This is a great opportunity to work with senior leadership across the organization while reporting to the Senior FP&A Manager and collaborating with the FP&A team. The role requires the ability to complete many high priority responsibilities simultaneously with accuracy and efficiency. The individual must have a strong sense of personal accountability and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
What you Will Work On
Prepare financial reports (e.g., income statements, monthly closing reports, and management reporting) according to regulatory requirements.
Partner with business leaders across Crisis24 to prepare monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and ad hoc projects.
Compare forecasted versus actual results and identify variance drivers.
Support ongoing assessment of financial performance, risks, and opportunities and support timely and proactive recommendations.
Develop complex financial models and business cases to support functional business leaders with key business decisions
Have an ability to analyze large amounts of raw data and then repackage, simplify, and determine key takeaways from the results
Review accounting transactions for data accuracy.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Perform other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the business.
What You Will Bring
BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
4 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint).
Experience working in Salesforce a plus.
Financial system knowledge (experience with NetSuite a plus).
Planful/Host Analytics or similar reporting and planning software experience.
Accountable, flexible, and professional demeanor.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
General knowledge of internal controls over financial statements.
