- Provide visionary leadership to advance student achievement and school district success.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, policies, and educational standards.
- Collaborate with the Board of Education to develop and implement strategic goals.
- Oversee financial and operational management of the district.
- Foster strong relationships with students, staff, parents, and the community.
- Possession of the Education Specialist Degree or higher and holds a Georgia Professional Clear Renewable Tier II Certificate at Level 6 or higher in Educational Leadership. Certificate number must be provided.
- Must be of good moral character, free of any convictions for crimes involving moral turpitude as required by Georgia law, and committed to high ethical standards. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to uphold professional norms and ethical principles while fostering the success of all students.
- Must not have any immediate family members serving on the Crisp County Board of Education or employed as an administrator in the school district after July 1, 2009, in accordance with Georgia law.
- A proven track record of success gained through professional expertise and progressive experience in roles of increasing responsibility over time.
- Demonstrates leadership by acting with integrity and fairness, maintaining attention to detail, responding promptly to constituent concerns, and respecting diverse perspectives while upholding ethical standards.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with faculty and community members, address diverse community interests and needs, and leverage community resources effectively.
- Creates and sustains a safe, supportive, and nurturing educational environment that addresses the academic, social, emotional, and physical well-being of every student.
- Proven ability to cultivate a positive, professional atmosphere of mutual trust and respect among faculty, staff, and administrators
- Proven experience in instructional leadership, curriculum development, and school improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, personnel, and district operations.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with stakeholders.
