    As the legal and financial landscape evolves, the need for proactive business development is critical. The Sales Manager / Business Development Specialist role at Silverman Theologou LLP is central to expanding our client base, building relationships with credit unions and other businesses, and maintaining our position as a leader in creditors' rights law. By driving outreach, managing client relationships, and fostering trust, you will directly contribute to the firm's continued success and growth.

    What you'll do :

    Sales and Business Development

  • Cold Calling and Outreach : Drive outreach efforts by cold-calling potential clients, introducing the firm's services, and explaining how they can add value to their businesses.
  • Lead Generation and List Management : Build a comprehensive list of potential clients, such as credit unions, and input and maintain this information in HubSpot. Ensure the database is meticulously updated to track outreach progress and outcomes.
  • Letter Campaigns : Manage the process of sending initial and follow-up letters to potential clients. Track the status of these letters (outgoing, returned, or delivered) and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Follow-Up and Telemarketing : Conduct follow-up phone calls after letter campaigns to secure 4-5 appointments monthly, with the goal of closing 1-2 deals per month.
  • Meeting Coordination : Schedule and coordinate meetings for attorneys or managers, ensuring all necessary details are prepared for a seamless presentation and negotiation.
  • Outreach Campaign Management : Oversee multi-channel outreach efforts, including quarterly and targeted email campaigns, social media, and direct calls to connect with potential clients effectively.
  • Client Maintenance and Event Support

  • Client Outreach and Engagement : Develop strategies to maintain strong client relationships, including sending newsletters, conducting client satisfaction surveys, and ensuring consistent communication to enhance retention.
  • Event Coordination : Manage calendars for speaking engagements and industry events. Attend these events to assist with sales efforts, including manning booths, distributing materials, and ensuring smooth logistics for attendance and sponsorships.
  • Support and Expansion : Assist with planning and executing client-focused initiatives, such as educational events or networking opportunities.
  • Process and Technology Management

  • HubSpot Database Management : Maintain detailed and organized records of all outreach activities, ensuring the database reflects accurate client and prospect information. Provide regular updates on progress to leadership.
  • Workflow Optimization : Refine and streamline workflows for lead management, outreach, and client engagement to maximize efficiency and results.
  • Technology Integration : Explore HubSpot integration options to enhance CRM functionality and reporting.
  • Marketing and Branding Strategy

  • Marketing Plan Development : Collaborate with the team to create a marketing plan, including the development of client avatars and branding strategies.
  • Social Media and Online Presence : Manage the firm's LinkedIn page and potentially other platforms (e.g., YouTube, Facebook) to boost visibility and engagement.
  • Budget Management : Follow the marketing budget and obtain necessary materials, such as SWAG, for client outreach and event participation.
  • Goal Setting and Metrics : Set clear goals and KPIs for all marketing and sales initiatives.
  • What we're looking for :

  • Experience : Minimum 3 years in B2B sales or telemarketing, with proven expertise in cold calling, lead generation, and outreach. Legal or financial services experience preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency : Advanced knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) and database management. Familiarity with social media platforms for professional use is a plus.
  • Communication Skills : Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage C-level executives confidently.
  • Initiative and Drive : Self-starter who excels in a fast-paced, remote-first environment with minimal supervision.
  • Travel Capability : Willingness to travel for at least six events annually, including conferences and client meetings.
