Crissair is looking for an experience RMA Repair Technician with a strong understanding of aerospace hydraulic systems to join our Quality team!

Summary
Performs any and all Repair operations of incoming customer returns (RMA's) within the department. Tests completed assemblies per related documents using specialized tools. Refers to technical drawings and written instructions such as Assembly & Test Procedures (ATP's) and / or Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM's) as required. Responsible for the Disassembly, Re-assembly, rework / repair and re-test of rejected parts coming back from customers.
Job Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other tasks and duties may be required as directed.
- Perform Millipore sampling, test as received, dis-assemble, Clean, rework / repair as required, re-assemble and re-test all valves returned to Crissair assigned by Manager.
- Set-up tests as required.
- Read pressure gauges and flow meters and accurately log data to ATP requirements.
- Capture data of all incoming returns accurately in order to capture the scope of work required for each RMA.
- Apply lock wire, sealants and torque seal are required by blue prints and work instructions.
- Follow daily RMA dispatch reports and other direction provided by Management.
- Install internal components using arbor press and proper fixtures.
- Identify causes for test failures, rework, and suggest corrective action as required (Submit to Manager for approval).
- Provide manager with detailed analysis and test results in support of Corrective Action Requests.
- Must be able to trouble shoot confirmed failures of any and all customer returns.
- Seek and document lean ideas to improve efficiency in the department.
- Maintain all hand tools in clean working condition.
- Notify Manager of any equipment that requires repair.
- Keep work station and test equipment clean and free of unnecessary debris (F.O D.).
- Properly handle and dispose of chemicals used.
- Maintain all safety standards and use safety equipment as required.
- Identify any routings discrepancy and notify Manager so changes can be made if necessary.
- Work with Manager to expedite the repair process on all RMA's.
- Assist less experienced technicians as directed by Manager when applicable.
- Complete assigned jobs performing assembly, test set-up, and test of RMA's with minimal or no supervision.
- Identify causes for test failures and perform requested rework without supervision.
- Read, interpret and understand blueprints, Assembly & Test Procedures (ATP's) and Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM's).
- Must understand basic hydraulic concepts for the function of gauges, flow meters and assemblies in hydraulic systems.
- Assist other departments (production) when requested or assigned by Management to do so.
- Willing to undergo cross training in inspection techniques to assist as required.
