POSITION DESCRIPTION DETAILS
The Assistant General Manager knows the restaurant business backward and forwards. This position is crucial to helping build a winning team by utilizing their strong knowledge of both operational procedures and shift positions.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Coordinate daily Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) operations.
- Train crew on equipment use, prep schedules, and production of quality products.
- Maintain inventory, manage labor, and own special event coordination.
- Actively work to reduce costs while maintaining our guest experience; identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Owns preventative maintenance program, including equipment maintenance, building upkeep, and Point of Service (POS) and IT functionality.
QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE
- High school diploma, or equivalent required.
- At least three years of relevant restaurant management / supervisory experience.
- Experience in minor maintenance tasks of restaurant equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Enthusiasm and ability to deliver an exceptional customer experience, every time.
