Their Quality Department is now hiring 2 new Firearms Parts Inspectors (who measure completed rifle and pistol parts for proper mechanical dimensions.
IDEAL CANDIDATE possesses experience with Micrometers, Calipers and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
Job is in Exeter New Hampshire in their production plant....2nd shift.....130pm-930pm Monday - Friday
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collect and review inspection data to ensure component integrity and investigate and resolve discrepancies found during part inspection.
Locate appropriate programs, load components into inspection equipment, run basic inspection programs and report results.
Identify features for inspection and correctly assign dimensional values and tolerances specified in print to a given feature.
Communicate effectively to supervision verbally and in written format regarding problems and corrective actions.
Participate in and sustain 5S Standards.
Follow all required Safety and ISO procedures.
Requirements
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or equivalent, related experience and / or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with various inspection tools like calipers, micrometers and coordinate measuring machines (CMMs)
No previous “quality” experience is required.
Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Basic proficiency in blueprint reading.
Familiarity and basic understanding of GD&T symbology assigned per ASME Y14.5.
Fluent in setup of simple parts and understanding of proper use of basic mechanical inspection equipment.
