Job Summary
Critical Access Network is seeking a qualified Medical Doctor to join our team. As a locum, you will work with veterans, conducting evaluations based on disability questionnaires provided by the VA.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations based on disability questionnaires
- Document patient responses and notes
- No prescribing medication or providing primary care services
- Veterans are scheduled based on your availability
- No minimums or maximums regarding patient numbers per shift
Location and Sites
Veterans will be seen in person at an offsite medical facility or a doctor's office within a reasonable driving distance of up to 50 miles. Phone consultations may be required for clarification or additional information.
Training and Support
- Brief introduction prior to credentialing
- Credentialing typically takes up to 7-10 days once documentation and assessments are complete
- Welcome email with online training link after credentialing
- Access to a representative for assistance when needed
Compensation and Benefits
Medical Opinion: $25 per exam
