Construction Manager for a power generation client that are located in New Jersey for a power generation client. This is a contractor role for a 2 yr project with the possibility of becoming a direct hire placement.
Manage project lifecycle for capital and O&M construction projects across real estate portfolio, including planning, bidding, awarding, execution, and closeout.
Oversee the planning, design, engineering, and construction of various facility and infrastructure projects, such as offices, service centers, data centers, warehouses, emergency operating facilities, and dispatch centers.
Develop and review project documentation, scope documents, performance specifications, contracts, bid packages, requisitions, and engineering work requests.
Create job packages for modifications or additions to electrical, mechanical, HVAC, building envelope, and site work.
Define project requirements, develop performance specifications, and manage budgets and schedules.
Prepare and present project status reports covering scope, budget, schedule, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Facilitate project close-out, lessons learned, and participate in audits
Perform project analytics and planning for the Administrative Services department.
Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment.
Travel to off-site locations and work outside regular business hours as needed.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Engineering degree in either civil, mechanical, electrical
- minimum of 4 years in commercial & industrial facilities
- Must be able to read and understand construction drawings
