Looking for an IT Support Engineer for a part or full time position.
The position will include computer software and hardware repair, virus cleanups, diagnostics, network implementation, administration and troubleshooting, remote support and server management and installation.
The position will include visiting clients on premises and performing network/server installations, as well as on-site diagnostic procedures.

Technical Requirements and Duties
General system failure troubleshooting ability required
Computer builds and setup of hardware, including installation and configuration of necessary software
Knowledge of how to setup, deploy and maintain commercial grade network environments, including network firewalls, routers, wireless access points, switches and Microsoft Windows Servers
Basic or advanced understanding of network traffic routing, including configuration of DHCP and DNS, as well as standard network protocols
Past experience working with IT support, both residential and commercial (minimum 2 years)
Ability to accurately and rapidly troubleshoot and diagnose computer symptoms, including both hardware and software problems
Some past experience with running network cabling, including routing cabling through walls and terminating ends
Ability to assist clients remotely over the phone as well as on premises when needed
Must be experienced with computer repair and software support for current Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems
Must have some experience with Microsoft Server 2008 or newer including Active Directory user management
Must be experienced with Microsoft Office
Administrative Requirements and Duties
Strong customer service skills, including both verbal and written communications to and from clients
Must be able to understand and fully duplicate communications received from clients
Must be able to speak clearly and intelligently and explain computer problems to clients without going "over their heads"
Strong organizational skill is required for this position
High degree of competence with data entry, with few or no errors when copying data from one source to another
Must be strong in both spelling and grammar
Must be clean in appearance and well dressed
Maintaining verbose and detailed records of all work performed, entered into a client database for future reference
Create and keep current how-to guides and FAQs for clients
Position includes answering phone calls as well as greeting walk-in clients
