Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Acute Care Wound Care

CCI is currently seeking a Certified Wound/Ostomy/Continence Nurse (WOCN) required for a 13-week contract assignment. Pittsfield, MA.

• $2200.00 - $2500 per week, Net take home. Paid Weekly. (based on exp)

• 8-Hours Unpaid Orientation) Non-negotiable
• Schedule/Hours - 8hr days (7a-3.30p or 8a-4.30p) 40hr guarantee
• Must have MA License (not in a pending status)
• Must have Wound Care Certification
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Wound Care Nurse to join our team. As part of our team, you assess wounds incurred through accidents and surgical procedures to determine both immediate treatment needs and long-term treatment plans. You make regular rounds to patients in your care, coordinate with supervising physicians regarding case management, and liaise between families and health care administrators. Before the patient is discharged, you educate patients and families on care practices and methods to promote wellness and healing. You must be a licensed registered nurse (RN) to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities Include

• Assess the unique needs of each patient to determine appropriate treatment plans
• Educate patients and families on best practices to promote healing and wellness
• Coordinate with supervising physicians to ensure smooth recovery processes
• Fulfill other nursing duties as required
  
  

Requirements

• BSN degree (strongly preferred)
• Current state licensure as a registered nurse (RN)
• CPR and basic life support (BLS) certifications
• Certification and prior experience in wound care
