What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Engineer position at CRITICAL ENVIRONMENTS PROFESSIONALS, INC?
The Project Engineer assists and supports the Project Manager on assigned projects. The position works under direct supervision, performs routine daily field activities, and gathers and distributes information. Our ideal candidate will have prior on-site construction industry experience, preferably with a Construction General Contractor, and a positive, can-do attitude who is willing to do whatever is necessary to get the job done right, and on time.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Receive, review, forward, and track the status of submittals
- Initiate, prepare, review, track, and distribute FWO's, PO's, RFP's, and RFQ's
- Assist in the management of project permit process
- Assist in preparations of bid packages and procurement
- Track and inspect material deliveries
- Assist in preparation of monthly owner project status reports, as required
- Attend project meetings, as directed by Project Manager, and record meeting minutes
- Assist and / or complete project close-out
- Communicate and enforce CEPro's environmental, health, and safety management policies
- Conduct quality inspections during the construction phase of projects
- All other duties as requested or assigned
