What are the responsibilities and job description for the Application Engineer-Advanced Semiconductor Packaging position at Critical Fit Recruiting?
The Applications Engineer will be a key growth enabler for product lines. Candidate will support development of new products, sustaining support for existing products, pre / post sale support, and product promotion and will interface with all aspects of the organization, including engineering, operations, marketing, sales, and service. Candidate will support customers around the world, as well as engineering and operations teams in NJ, Korea and China.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- The candidate is required to develop an in-depth expertise in product operation, applications and customer processes.
- Support for pre-sale activities that include product demos, product presentations, development of technical papers and support at trade shows.
- Support for post-sale activities that include customer training, customer support, understanding customer processes, and development of new use cases.
- Support new product requirements, alpha (internal) testing, beta (external) testing and development of product documentation.
- Support for internal customers such as service, engineering and operations.
- Reports to VP of Product Management.
BACKGROUND PROFILE :
5 years of experience in semiconductor / electronics equipment or processes.
