Sr. Market Strategy Manager - Tapes & Films - Newark, NJ Area
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive the regional segment steering together with the regional business head and respective functions (e.g. Innovation, business development, sales).
- Drive & manage regional key strategic initiatives contributing to global segment strategy in strong partnership across the organization.
- Create customer value in matching customers targets & strategies with insights about future trends (2-5 years) in the segment and related company offerings.
- Collect and analyze competitor/customer insights to derive relevant intelligence and actions for the business segment.
- Ensure consistency in market insights and related interpretation (trends, market sizing, association work) to provide fact-based recommendations to the segment team.
- Initiate, steer and manage strategic projects and transformational initiatives by anticipating future market trends, potential regulations, and technological push.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing strategies with broader business goals.
- Own your results, including customer messaging, promote range definition & pricing strategy of related products.
BACKGROUND PROFILE:
- Bachelor's degree required; STEM degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Marketing B2B, Strategy, General Management in a relevant industry
- Ideally first experience in the tapes & labels packaging industry
- Strategic thinking and planning for effective market strategy development as well as analytical skills to interpret market data and make informed decisions
- Project management abilities to oversee the execution of marketing campaigns.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
- Creativity and innovation for developing impactful market strategies.
