What are the responsibilities and job description for the Email Developer position at Critical Mass?
The Email Developer (ED) is responsible for designing and writing code and providing support for building responsive email designs.
They need to know HTML, CSS and media query, the ED can work independently tasks, assuming ownership for the design and programming required. ED should handle the code very well, to developing a respnsive email, this individual will rely on existing designs. The ED should also be able to provide accurate estimates for his tasks.
You will
- Work with the design team, tech leads and PMs.
- Develop responsive email design.
- Coach and support other email developers in fulfilling tasks and improving their skills.
- Ensure that implementation matches the design, including syncing.
- Create JavaScript (basic to complex level)
- Customize HTML, CSS, and JS code generated by various tools.
- Optimize HTML, CSS, and JS code to achieve maximum performance with minimum size.
- Ensure email environment compatibility.
- Willing to work overtime and research online marketing resolutions.
- Being aware and having a proactive, mindful "eye" to problem identification and mitigation (associated with executing HTML Email Campaigns).
- Using the following programs Excel, Good Docs, Adobe Creative Suite, MailChimp, HTML / CSS Skills.
