CPF has an exciting opening in our Nashua location for a Production Manager/Planner. In this role you will be responsible for managing and coordinating production schedules, optimizing processes, and ensuring efficient workflow within the manufacturing environment. This role requires a strong understanding of production management, supply chain dynamics, and operational efficiency to meet production goals while minimizing waste.
What you will be accomplishing in our team environment:
- Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer demand and resource availability.
- Collaborate with various departments including operations, supply chain, and plant management to ensure alignment on production goals.
- Analyze production processes and implement process improvement initiatives using lean methodologies.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure materials are available for production needs.
- Utilize systems for tracking production metrics and performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.
- Communicate effectively with team members to address scheduling conflicts or delays in the manufacturing process.
- Prepare reports on production performance and provide recommendations for enhancing operational efficiency.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field with 3 years of experience
- Proven managerial experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing concepts and process improvement techniques.
- Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical skills to assess data and make informed decisions.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in using scheduling software and other relevant systems.
