For over 25 years, CPF has been designing filtration products, and our own machinery, with the goal of becoming the number one manufacturer of process filters. CPF has an exciting opening in our Nashua location for a Quality Engineer. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. You will perform technical analysis to determine the causes of quality issues and develop solutions. You will use your expertise in engineering, technology and mathematics to evaluate processes, analyze data and develop methods for improvement. Your job duties will include conducting test runs, collecting and analyzing data, identifying areas for improvement and developing solutions through research and development. You will also respond promptly to customer needs; Solicit customer feedback to improve service; Respond to requests for service and assistance and meet commitments.
What you will be accomplishing:
- Assists in the development of new processes or modifications to existing processes to enhance product quality.
- Helps create documentation presentation packages to satisfy customer requirements.
- Travels on offsite facilities to assist in application and validation efforts and product evaluations.
- Manages and does lab analytical work to compare CPF products to competitor products.
- Manages and does lab work to identify appropriate CPF filters to use in existing or new applications.
- Manages and does lab work to evaluate new filters and other materials for potential use in CPF products.
- Manages and does lab work to generate product data and performance guides.
- Attends trade shows and conferences for the purpose of keeping abreast of industry needs and requirements.
- Develops project plans; Coordinates projects; Communicates changes and progress; Completes projects on time and budget.
- Coordinate activities with Sales, Production and other internal groups as required to best meet customer needs.
- Respond to new customer inquiries while maintaining current customer base.
- Creates a program and process for filter validations, both customer specific and CPF product line based.
- Analyzes, tests and reports on customer complaints.
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions.
- Develops project plans; Coordinates projects; Communicates changes and progress; Completes projects on time and budget.
- Conduct thorough quality inspections and assessments of products throughout the production process.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems that support continuous improvement efforts.
- Establish statistical confidence by identifying sample size and acceptable error, and determining levels of confidence.
- Develop experiments by applying full and fractional factorial techniques.
- Develop sampling plans by applying attribute, variable, and sequential sampling methods.
- Assists the company in developing and maintaining the ISO9001 procedures and work instructions.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in QA/QC roles within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong understanding of Quality Management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with CGMP standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Proficient in conducting quality audits and inspections.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Certification as a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), which includes training in quality management systems, leadership and management, customer relations, communication skills and supplier management.
