SUMMARY
Perform a wide variety of operations to assemble and build mechanical subassemblies and final products. Plan, layout and perform wiring and floor assembly, frame assemblies, small bench top assemblies and components for various types and sizes of complex products to achieve daily build schedule and meet or exceed quality / performance targets. Ability to read assembly drawings and layout components to build sub-assemblies from engineering plans/drawings.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The work environment characteristics include periodic noise increases when in the Manufacturing facility, although the office environment is usually quiet and respectful. Safety glasses and other required safety protection should be worn when out in the manufacturing facility, which may vary depending on the area you are working/visiting.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilize hand held tools, electrical tools, pneumatic tools
- Install, repair, and replace electro-mechanical components and assemblies
- Recommend improvement in quality or production standards to achieve optimum performance
- Read, analyze, and interpret technical drawings, mechanical build drawings, understand the scope-of-work
- Visually inspect work performed for quality, cosmetics, workmanship and conformance to drawings
- Verify proper revision levels on job routers, BOM’s and drawings
- Ability to redline documentation to represent as-built condition
- Ability to lead and train other employees is a plus
- Performs other duties as assigned

- Flexibility to work overtime, holidays and off-shift hours to support company requirements as needed
- Able to travel up to 10% as needed
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office products needed
- Valid driver’s license
- High school diploma required; Associates degree in a technical field preferred
- A minimum 1 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment as an electro-mechanical or similar technician; field service experience is a plus
