Who You Are

We’re looking for a People Team Intern to join our team at our Plano, TX headquarters. This in-person internship runs from May 19, 2025, to August 22, 2025, with an expected commitment of 30 hours per week at a rate of $20.00 USD per hour. Our People Team includes Human Resources, Learning & Development and Talent Acquisition team members. We are passionate about fostering a high-velocity talent funnel while also providing an excellent candidate experience for our potential new Critical Crew members.

 

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and personable individual with a strong interest in human resources and talent acquisition. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to learn and grow in the HR field. With a proactive attitude, you take initiative and are excited to contribute to the recruitment process. You are an excellent communicator, both in writing and in person, and enjoy collaborating with others to solve problems. What You Will Be Doing?

As the People Team Intern, you will work with the Human Resources, Learning & Development and Talent Acquisition members in the U.S. and India on the following:

  • Ensure a positive candidate experience during the interview process by assisting with interview scheduling with the ability to juggle multiple calendars.
  • Assist with researching and sourcing new candidates via various platforms.
  • Participate in employer talent branding efforts, which can include assisting with creating content for social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.).
  • Propose creative solutions, events, and/or campaigns to help attract candidates to our job postings.
  • Update and edit job postings as needed.
  • Support the day-to-day operations of HR, L&D and Talent team.
  • Create and format various content including:
    • Social media and employer brand materials
    • Internal documents (PowerPoint presentations, New Hire Bios, Job Descriptions)
    • Onboarding/training materials and employee welcome kits
  • Assist with Compliance research and reporting
  • Assist with the New Hire Onboarding and Off Boarding life cycles.
  • Help coordinate employee engagement activities and events; this can include creating fun/engaging posts for our internal Microsoft Teams channels.
  • Assist in maintaining and possibly creating departmental, ERG, and other internal Intranet Pages.
  • Coordinate training sessions, including scheduling and support in curating learning content for employees.
  • Collaborate on global projects with the India-based People Team

What You Will Bring?

Required Qualifications: 

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, from an accredited institution.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
  • Possess an elevated level of integrity and professionalism when it comes to managing sensitive information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with candidates and team members.
  • Possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with AI platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, or similar LLM tools) is a plus
  • You love to work both collaboratively and independently

  • Stationary position for extended periods of time.

  • Must be able to apply established protocols in a timely manner. 
  • Make timely decisions in the context of workflow. 
  • Ability to complete tasks and perform in situations requiring speed deadlines, or productivity quota. 
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in high stress situations. 
  • Ability to simultaneously address multiple complex problems.

Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (sales roles only).

 

Compensation:

The total compensation range (hourly) being offered for this role is $20.00 USD/per hour.

 

Additional Compensation:

This role is not eligible for additional or other forms of compensation.
