What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Therapist position at Crittenton Services?
Wellspring Family Services is hiring full-time Mental Health Therapists in our Huntington, WV location. Our Therapists provide therapeutic behavioral services and support services to clients based on the assessment of their individual needs according to their treatment plan and diagnosis. You will see clients in-home, at school, or online via our HIPAA secure platform, Telehealth.
Hybrid: This position does not have a main office location; however, you will see clients in-home, at school, or online. This is not strictly a remote position and does require travel.

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work or Psychology from an accredited school.
- Current WV licensure in the respective fields (LPC, LGSW or higher)
- If unlicensed, must be willing to enter into the licensure process within the initial three months of employment. Will consider Master's of Psychology degree
- Three (3) years’ experience with at-risk families, preferred.
- Valid driver's license
- Required to pass a background/CPS check and drug screen
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions including initial and ongoing assessments/treatment planning.
- Document all services provided in a timely manner.
- Complete prior authorizations for services as needed.
- Complete any written information as required by the agency, DHHR, courts, etc.
- Coordinate client services with other agency services as needed.
- Facilitate the responsibilities of a mandated reporter of child abuse and neglect in accordance with state statutes.
- Attend weekly staff meetings and clinical supervision.
- Attend agency required trainings such as CPR/FA, CPI, CANS, etc.
Salary: $50,000 to $62,000 (based upon licensure and experience)
