Overview

Critter Control Operations (CCO) is seeking a driven and skilled Warranty Driver to join our team. In this role, you will oversee and lead a team of technicians responsible for wildlife exclusion and repair services for residential and commercial properties. You will be directly involved in ensuring a high level of service quality, driving team performance, and maintaining compliance with safety and technical policies. If you have strong leadership abilities, a background in service management, and a passion for wildlife control, this role could be for you!

 

 


Responsibilities

Critter Control Operations (CCO) is a leading provider of wildlife management services. We specialize in wildlife removal, exclusion, and damage repair for residential and commercial properties. Our mission is to provide safe, effective, and responsible solutions to nuisance wildlife and pest problems.

What does a day in the life look like?

  • Review the day’s warranty service calls and plan efficient routes for customer visits.
  • Inspect and prepare the company vehicle, ensuring all tools, equipment, and materials are stocked and ready for use.
  • Drive to customer locations, greeting clients professionally and reviewing their warranty concerns.
  • Conduct thorough property inspections to identify pest activity, entry points, and potential risk areas.
  • Apply appropriate pest control treatments or implement wildlife exclusion methods as per warranty coverage.
  • Set up traps or barriers, ensuring they are safe, effective, and compliant with regulations.
  • Provide customers with clear explanations of the work performed and any preventive measures they can take.
  • Complete detailed reports of services provided, including inspection findings, treatments applied, and any additional recommendations.
  • Update warranty claim records and ensure accurate documentation for follow-up visits if needed.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and the service vehicle, cleaning and organizing them at the end of each day.
  • Report any vehicle or equipment issues promptly to the supervisor.
  • Address any questions or concerns customers may have about their service or warranty.
  • Provide follow-up recommendations to help customers maintain a pest-free environment.
  • Review completed tasks, update service logs, and report any unresolved issues to the office.
  • Prepare for the next day by refilling supplies and reviewing the upcoming schedule.

Qualifications

What do you need to be successful?

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in construction, carpentry, roofing, or other related fields
  • Ability to work in the field independently
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in using several types of software and applications; experience with Salesforce is a plus

 

What does the work environment look like?

We go where the wildlife goes! Candidates must be physically capable of safely performing the following job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Must be able to drive to various locations, often covering large territories.
  • Frequent walking, standing, and moving through diverse types of terrain, including uneven ground, stairs, roofs, and sometimes slippery or muddy areas.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (extreme heat, extreme cold, rain, snow, etc.).
  • Must have the ability to climb stairs and ladders safely.
  • Must be able to crouch, kneel, bend, and stretch frequently.
  • Capability to carry and use equipment necessary for inspections and minor control measures (Traps, ladders, inspection tools, etc).
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Clear verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
