- Actively listen to clients and their needs, and interpret body language and tone in order to exceed expectations.
- Effectively communicate with service customers, ask questions, and test drive client cars to provide technicians with essential information.
- Complete accurate walkarounds to record the condition of the client's vehicle upon arrival.
- Advise customers on the care of their cars, show value in Mercedes-Benz recommended maintenance plan, and present the need for additional work when necessary.
This role involves handling telephone inquiries, returning phone, email, and text messages promptly, and reviewing work performed with clients. The service advisor ensures customer satisfaction after the sale by responding to any issues in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate will have a previous documented work history as a service advisor, a high school diploma or equivalent, and authorization to work in the USA for any employer.

Responsibilities :
Follow up after completed service appointments to ensure customers are satisfied with vehicle repairsOrganize all automotive documents, repair orders, invoices, and maintenance recordsRelay relevant automotive technology and product knowledge to explain necessary repairs to customers scheduling service appointmentsOversee the schedule for service department technicians’ repairsReview and verify vehicle warranty protections and service contract coverage when developing cost estimates, work orders, and other paperwork related to necessary repairsAttitude is everything—greet service department customers promptly and courteouslyListen to each customer and articulate repair needs to techsUpsell recommended / additional services using low-pressure, high-integrity methodsProvide accurate estimates of repair / maintenance costsAdherence to dealership policy on customer vehicle care and operationFollow up on each repair and keep customers informed of the progressSell and manage extended warrantiesInspect repair quality and ensure that all work is completeNotify customers when vehicles are ready for pickupReview and explain repairs and associated costs to customersHandle minor customer concerns and complaintsKeep the Service Manager informed of all problems and potential problemsMaintain Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores by dealership standardsQualifications :
A valid, state-issued driver’s license and clean driving record is requiredMust have problem-solving and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other fundamental programsExcellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are necessaryPrior experience in a service advisor role not required but is highly preferredHigh school diploma or GED is mandatoryRequirements
