Requirements :
Top Secret security clearance with an investigation within the last 6 years
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or related field
5 years of experience in defining, developing, and implementing network architecture strategies
Information Assurance Systems Architects and Engineers (IASAE) Level III certification per DoD 8570.01-M
Experience providing strategic technology direction and architecture vision across a large portfolio of capabilities
Desired knowledge and skills related to network solutions, digital engineering, systems engineering, Microsoft Office, oral and written communication, operating systems, networking concepts, protocols, hardware, infrastructure, firewalls, cloud networking architecture, virtualization, automation, and monitoring and troubleshooting complex network issues
Responsibilities :
As an Engineer / Network Architect, my primary responsibilities will include :
Directly supporting the design, build, prototype, deploy, and maintain classified National Security Systems
Designing, implementing, monitoring, and managing local and wide area networks for a Program Office
Collaborating across Government and Industry teams to identify network design requirements and opportunities for leveraging existing networks
Developing network architecture artifacts and requirements for the network environment
Establishing the technology strategy and technology roadmaps for Program Office and classified programs
Providing inputs into requirements documents and statements of work
