What are the responsibilities and job description for the Central Services Tech position at CRMC Branding?
Colquitt Regional Medical Center is currently hiring a Central Sterile Aide. The Central Sterile Aide prepares department for daily operations; removal of dirty linens and maintaining stock levels of items needed to insure sterilization.
Assure Biological testing of all sterilizers.
Assists with proper instrumentation of all trays and single instruments.
Fill requests for equipment rental.
Maintain thorough knowledge of sterilization techniques and procedures.
Annual completion of World Health Organization hand hygiene education and training and its relationship to infection control in addition to physical demonstration and understanding of compliance monitoring.
Attend all required in-services and staff updates.
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Basic medical knowledge helpful.
Computer proficiency.
Physical Requirements
Extensive sitting, stooping, bending, reaching, standing and walking.
Regularly lifts up to 20 pounds.
Visual and hearing acuity necessary.
