What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director in Training of Facility Operations position at CRMC Branding?
The Director in Training of Facilities Operations will train to become the successor of the Facilities Operation Director. They will be expected to learn all aspects of the Facilities Operations Director to take over the position upon retirement or other unforeseen circumstances of the current director. The Director in Training will be expected to obtain the following certifications as part of the training:
• Become a Certified Health Care Facility Manager (CHFM)
• Become member of Georgia Society for Healthcare Engineers (GASHE)
• Become member of American Society for Healthcare Engineers (ASHE)
• Become a Certified Health Care Constructor (CHC)
• Become a Certified Health Care Physical Environment Worker
• Become a Certified Life Safety Specialist (CLSS-HC)
The Director in Training of Facility Operations Reports to the Director of Facility Operations will learn to
• Be accountable for all square feet of occupied space throughout the medical center.
• Ensure that the buildings and systems of the assigned facilities are fully functioning.
• Aid in development of procedures and processes to ensure that maintenance repair of equipment and/or systems construction activities are executed quickly, safely, and correctly.
• Helps monitor expenditures, workloads, and work schedules to ensure that requests for maintenance are pairs are completed per standard.
• Prepare and forecast budgets, develop and implement process improvement plans, annual performance goals and objectives.
• Ensures the facilities meet and\or exceed all requirements set forth by the accrediting agencies of the hospital.
• Full understanding of JCHAO requirements and how they relate to accreditation requirements.
