What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Administrator position at CRMC Branding?
Major Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, including routers, firewalls, switches, and other networking equipment.
- Configure and manage network services such as DNS, DHCP, WSUS, VPN, and VLANs to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and related software applications including SQL databases.
- Monitor network performance and security, identifying and resolving issues proactively to minimize downtime and ensure data integrity.
- Implement and enforce security measures to protect against unauthorized access, viruses, malware, and other cyber threats.
- Perform regular data backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity in the event of system failures or disasters.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users, promptly resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 3 years of relevant experience
Minimum Competencies:
- Knowledgeable in industry best practices for computer system security
- Experience with SQL database management, backup, and data extraction
- Ability to work in a hands-on environment with other team members
- Network management experience, including VLAN with VoIP and Data VLANs
- Experience with Cisco / Juniper Switches, VMware / Nutanix, and Backup systems
- Practical knowledge of Hyper-converged technologies and Hypervisor technologies
