Front Office Duties:
- Greet and check-in patients, verify demographic and insurance information.
- Schedule patient appointments and coordinate follow-ups.
- Answer and direct phone calls, provide exceptional customer service.
- Collect co-pays, process payments, and maintain accurate billing records.
- Handle medical records requests and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Coordinate communication between patients, medical staff, and providers.
Medical Scribe Duties:
- Accompany the physician during patient visits to document history, physical exams, assessments, and treatment plans in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Record lab and imaging results, medication lists, and physician instructions.
- Prepare referral letters, prior authorizations, and other medical documentation.
- Assist in ensuring medical records are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and workflows.
